YOUNGSTERS enjoyed a bug hunt at Walverden Park, Nelson yesterday.
Pendle will be kept entertained for the next few days of their summer holidays by taking part in a search for the hidden treasures of Pendle's parks.
Under tens will be joining the council's park wardens to take part in bug hunts, earth walks and treasure hunts.
The first bug hunt was yesterday with further events today, Monday and Tuesday.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
There was an earthwalk arranged for today from the conservatory in Marsden Park, Nelson. A treasure hunt will begin at the pavilion in Alkincoats Park, Colne, at 1.30pm on Monday and an earthwalk will take place from the car park at Ballgrove Park, in Colne, at 1.30pm on Tuesday
