LUCKY Accrington mum Jacqui Adams enjoyed a taste of the high life after winning a luxury weekend for two on the Internet.
Jacqui, 30, of Water Street, and her partner Jason Adamson, 29 lived in the lap of luxury at a five-star hotel in the Lake District, travelling in a vintage Aston Martin V8 Vantage and with £250 spending money.
"When I found out that I had won I was gobsmacked and could not quite believe that it was real," she said. "I've had a taste of how the other half lives and it was wonderful."
Jacqui, a part-time sales assistant with Iceland, chose the Lake District because it was not far from home and it was the first time she had left her two-year-old son Luke since he was born.
Jacqui regularly enters competions but this is the biggest prize she has won.
