A BURY businesswoman is pioneering the likes of retail therapy and a visit to a mouth-watering fudge factory to combat work-related stress.
Launched earlier this year, Temika Tracey's Unique training company aims to provide 20 business and personal development courses including first aid and health and safety, leading to the awards of NVQs (National Vocational Qualifications).
But Temika wants to make such learning fun. Her newly-launched motivational courses are being staged this month and in August. Temika explained: "Our clients have a choice of extraordinary places to undertake the training. One place in particular is the corporate box at the one day cricket that not only includes a four course lunch, champagne but we discuss men's health issues, give Men's MOT'S and cover topics such as stress and motivation within the workplace.
"Also, our women's workshop will be held in weird and wonderful places such as a fudge factories because we all know chocolate is a woman's weakness. We also include retail therapy sessions."
