CARING teenager Lucy Crozier, of St Bede's RC High School, Lytham, has won a trip to London for designing a logo for the New Fylde Families Project.
"I was thinking about children whose parents get divorced or whose mum dies and they need someone to help them," said Lucy, 12, whose drawing incorporates a windmill and hands supporting people.
The project aims to help local parents who need immediate short-term or longer term support in dealing with problems. Head teacher Chris Riding, pictured congratulating Lucy, added: "We are delighted that she has won the competition and she is very much looking forward to meeting up with our local MP, Michael Jack, who has always been a big supporter of St Bede's."
