SUNSHINE helped make this year's Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show the best-ever.
The Chorley show ran for three days and attracted thousands of people from all over the country.
Its success was clear to see. Even the Dry Stone Walling Association attracted crowds.
Tom Norris, honorary chairman of Mid Lancs and Pennine branch, stood behind a newly-built wall and said: "The lads have just finished and gone off for a pint. We've been very busy"
The same story was heard in the Rural Craft tent. "Its the weather," explained Pat Makinson of Sitting Pretty, Whitewell, near Clitheroe.
"People usually buy to cheer themselves up. With this sun they're already happy".
The event will be staged at Salesbury Hall, Ribchester, for the next three years..
