OWNERS of MG cars presented a cheque to the chairman of Hospice Care for Burnley and Pendle after first enjoying a drive around Pendle.
Members of the MG Owners Club met up at the Stone Trough Inn, Colne Road, Kelbrook, before touring the villages around Pendle Hill and then enjoying a buffet meal back at the pub.
Pendleside Hospice, based in Reedley, had to raise more than £1million from voluntary sources each year to keep its services running for people suffering from cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
Hospice chairman Miss Muriel Jobling said: "This is a very generous gesture by the MG Owners Club.
"We are grateful to them for their support."
