A NEW car was destroyed in a petrol bomb attack in the early hours of Friday (Aug 23).
And another car had petrol poured over it.
A Toyota Yaris parked in Nuttall Street, Bury, was burnt out when a home-made petrol bomb was thrown at it, setting the vehicle alight.
And a Corolla parked in nearby Spring Street suffered £450 worth of damage when petrol was poured on to the roof. Those responsible fled when disturbed by a passer-by.
Police are investigating the possibility that the two incidents could be linked.
