WAS the period a consultation from Lancashire County Council regarding the closure of homes for the elderly in the area just a planned period of time in which the outrage and fervour of objections would simmer down or diminish?
And the anguish of residents and their families dimmed by a sense of inevitability?
It is evident that it is a waste of time to shout anything at executive member for social services County Councillor Chris Cheetham, as he's deaf to anything but his own agenda and what he has in mind.
