TWO schools benefited from a company's safety record with donations of £50 each.
The names of St Barnabas CE, in Knowsley Road, and St Peter's CE, in Turncroft Road, both Darwen, were drawn out of a hat by bosses at the Darwen site of Imperial Home Decor Group, in Belgrave Road,
The site has gone more than 100 days without an accident and split £100 between the two schools. If employees break the current record -- 150 days without an accident -- more money will be handed out.
Paul Fleck, health and safety advisor with the company, said he was delighted to hand over the money.
