LEIGH Literary Society's meetings are held in The Derby Room, Leigh Library on alternate Mondays.
The meetings start at 7.30pm. If you would like to subscribe (subscription £11) or visit (visiting £1.50) the society then contact the local history officer, Tony Ashcroft on 404559. The next gathering will be on October 7 where Agatha Brown will be speaking about the Waterways of the Tzars.
