THREE towns in the borough have joined a national web site network.
Thanks to town centre manager, Annette Root, Tyldesley, Hindley and Ashton have linked up with over 70 others in the UK taking part in "Town Talk".
Atherton, was first to set up its own site in May, thanks to funding from the SRB5 Atherton Building Communities programme.
All the sites contain information about shops and businesses, plus events, news and electronic postcards to send to friends and relatives all over the world.
The sites have been developed by the Wigan Borough Chamber of Commerce town centre management team in partnership with the council.
A Local Links page allows businesses, schools and community groups to join the site. For further information or for any events to be included on the site contact Annette on 01942 705455.
