rI TOOK a holiday last week and decided to decorate the back bedroom, aka junkroom. Two days in I wished I hadn't started.
Spurred on by the watching paint dry programmes on the box I set about clearing away 20 years of accumulated possessions.
Day one saw me fill four bin bags with shoes only fit for the tip and 15 bags of designer clothes ranging from sizes 12 to 16.
I was hoarding them for when I lost the extra poundage!
Seven days later the room was like a new pin. The only problem now is I've got to make a start on culling the room into which I moved the other stuff.
Those interior designers have a lot to answer for.
