LEIGH Athletic let two points slip after drawing 2-2 at Elton Vale.
Leigh took the lead when Steve Bevan scored his sixth goal in as many games but they could not find a killer second goal to finish the game off.
Leigh ran out of steam in the second half and found themselves 2-1 down. With 10 minutes left Neil Sumner chased a lost cause and finished clinically to salvage a point.
The reserves went down to a disappointing 2-1 defeat at home to Elton.
