BRIG sealed victory well before the final whistle in a confident display, writes Daniel Mee.

They creating some good early chances with Stewart Clitheroe putting a good cross into the back post, on ten mintes but Alex Porter's left footed volley was too high.

Brig continued to dominate and were rewarded in the 24th minute when Shepherd put a pass through the centre of the defence for Porter to scored.

Farsley came back into the match but Brig showed some good quality in the 40th minute when Porter crossed the ball to Carl Lions who blasted the ball home. After the break Brig again forced Farsley on to the back foot and in the 57th minute Stuart Honer headed in a corner to give for a 3-0 lead.

From there Brig just created chance after chance but it was not until the 76th minute were one of their attempts successful. Smith ran from the half-way line into the box before chipping the ball over the keeper.

After this the home team sat back and although Farsley pulled two goals back Brig never looked like losing.
