ONE of the most prominent features of the Blackburn skyline has been captured on canvas by a top North West artist.
The brewery tower at Daniel Thwaites on Penny Street was Julia Midgley's subject as she sought to repay the company for their support of her time as 'artist in residence' at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
"It's a way of thanking Thwaites for their generosity," said Julia, 54, of Northwich, Cheshire.
She will display her work at the Blackburn Museum and Art Gallery next year.
