IN your article 'Back on road to Nab End' (Let, December 2), you say author William Woodruff was terrorised by the fearsome Sister Layola at St. Peter's RC School in Mill Hill, Blackburn.
Her name is seared in my brain. I will never forget it for the hidings she gave me.
She was Loyola, not Layola, as you stated and was named after St Ignatious Loyola.
