NEW offices are to be built at Leigh for Persimmon Homes. The contract has gone to Totty, the Bradford-based construction and development group.
The deal follows the decision by Persimmon to award more than £22 million in contracts to Totty for construction work on urban living developments in Lancaster and Manchester.
Mr David Broadbent, Regional Chairman of Persimmon Homes, said: "Persimmon's relationship with Totty is a great example of a successful partnership in action." The relationship between the two companies began with a £3.5 million scheme for luxury apartments and town houses at St George's Court in Lancaster.
Other collaborations have included a luxury residential and leisure development at Worsley Mill in central Manchester.
Work is also underway on another £7 million contract to redevelop a Grade II listed warehouse building, Asia House, into 94 luxury apartments in Princess Street.
