NORTH West Manufacturing Technologies Ltd, based in Leigh, has received one of the government Small Business Service's £45,000 feasibility study awards.
The project will examine the feasibility of producing a vibrator attachment for a commercially-available, low-cost industrial robot arm.
It would be incorporated into a standard manufacturing cell for the casting of concrete blocks.
