LEIGH dance duo, Paradise, held their first live performance outside Journal-land when they performed their debut single Rising Sun at the Clothes Show Live 2002 at Birmingham's NEC.
Paradise, made up by Chapel Street barber Rob Grice and musical partner Stuart Connor, performed the dance track, featuring vocals from Kirsty McCormack, on the Galaxy 102 stage at the massive event. They were in good company, performing after Pop Idol runner-up Darius Danesh and before So Solid Crew's Romeo.
They are now in the process of getting their video played on TV music channels, The Box and MTV, while looking forward to the single's long-awaited release in January.
