THE monthly service of healing at St Mark's Church, Rossendale Road, is getting more popular. For more details contact Father John Haigh at the church.

The Rosegrove Christingle walkabout and carol singing was attended by approximately 20 people, including children and adults. The event ended with a carol service at Rosewood Court residential home on Owen Street.

Santa Claus met the residents and staff at the home. Sherry and mince pies were provided for the singers.

A Christingle service at St Mark's Church, Rossendale Road, will be held on Sunday at 3pm. Everyone is welcome to this family act of worship which gives valuable support to the children's society. On Christmas Eve midnight mass of the Nativity will take place.

Rosegrove Action Group wish Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to PC Linda Haywood, the community wardens for their efforts in Rosegrove, also the shops and residents who have donated money or gifts for the various events which have been held this year.

Tomorrow at 4pm, Father Christmas will be in Rosegrove Action Group shop at 12, Lowerhouse Lane, Rosegrove. Bring the children along to see him in his grotto. A donation of only 50p is needed to receive a present.
