RAMSBOTTOM travel to top-of-the-table Prescot Cables in NWCL Division One tomorrow and joint-manager Andy Grimshaw reckons there is a new-found belief in the side.
"Everyone is going round with a smile on their face now," said Grimshaw, whose side have won their last two games after going for 11 matches without a victory.
"Nobody is frowning any more like they were a few weeks ago or turning up to matches thinking they were just there to get beat.
"People turn up now thinking we can win or get a result and that is what we have been trying to get through to them in training and before games."
The Rams are without top scorer Russell Brierley, who is suspended for 28 days. "That is a loss but it gives new players like Scott Weir and Mark Fitton time to bed themselves in.
"Mark looks very promising and Ian Dyson made his debut last week and did very well.
"We had about nine players out so it will be nice to welcome some of them back tomorrow."
