PRESTON North End boss Craig Brown is not setting his side any targets for the Christmas period.

The Lilywhites, who start their seasonal programme with a trip to high-riding Sheffield United tomorrow, face Rotherham at home on Boxing Day and then have trips to Crystal Palace and Stoke.

"It is a difficult period, but then there are no games in this division that are easy," said Brown.

"Grimsby wasn't an easy game, but we went out there and made it easy."

The Mariners were put to the sword 3-0 and Brown will be looking for the same kind of display against the Blades, but he will take points where and when they come over the next couple of weeks.

"There are no targets over the Christmas period," he added.

"We will just try and get as many as we can and we will take the games as they come."
