A MOTHER whose child repeatedly did not go to school has been ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £250.
Linda Bateson, of Coronation Road, Radcliffe, pleaded guilty to failing to ensure the attendance of her child when she appeared before Bury magistrates.
The Bench was told that the child, a pupil at Radcliffe High School, attended on only 33 out of a possible 104 occasions in a period between April and July of this year.
Bateson, who was fined £125, was also ordered to pay costs of £125.
