A TOWN centre store has been closed because of structural problems.
British Home Stores, in Blackburn shopping centre, was shut yesterday. Its manager said there had been "structural problems" but refused to be more specific.
When asked if the store would be reopen today she said she could not say and would not give any more information.
The floor above the shop is being turned into a JJB sports store.
In November it was announced the new store would not be open before Christmas because work had fallen eight weeks behind schedule.
New escalators have been fitted on one side of BHS to provide access into the new JJB store.
