A BRIERFIELD man accused of murdering his wife has been remanded to await trial.
John Boyes, aged 66, of Elland Road, pleaded not guilty at a Preston Crown Court hearing to murdering Celia Boyes on July 23.
A trial date has been set for January 27. The defendant was remanded in custody by Judge Peter Openshaw QC.
