THE famous sons and daughters of Pendle are being asked to help promote the borough.
And an organisation responsible for the promotion of Pendle are asking people to help find more of them.
The Pendle Partnership chairman, Dennis Mendoros OBE, said: "Can you name any famous living people with Pendle connections? Perhaps someone who lives here or who has lived here in the past?"
If you can, then Pendle Partnership wants to hear from you, and every name you give will be entered into a prize draw to win a £10 gift voucher.
Pendle Partnership has already identified lots of famous people with Pendle connection including: John Simm, Lee Ingleby, Alastair Little, Eric Knowles, Penelope Keith, Craig Heap, and Krishnan and Gita Guru Murphy.
The prize draw will be made on January 31. To enter the draw send a postcard with your list of famous people associated with Pendle, your name, address and telephone number, to: Pendle Partnership, Pendle Business Centre, Commercial Rd, Nelson, BB9 9BT or email nick.molyneux@pendlepartnership.co.uk
Names on the list above will not be considered.
