AS the prospect of war with Iraq looms closer, a meeting in Bury will examine how individuals can bring peace to the workplace!

The first Greater Manchester Spirit at Work meeting of the New Year is to be held on Monday (Jan 13) at the St James Church Centre, St James Avenue, Woolfold, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

Spirit at Work is a non-religious group, run by Summerseat-based businessman Phil Clothier, that meets once a month. It aims to provide a venue where issues of spirituality and business can be openly discussed.

He said: " At a time when the country appears to be teetering on the brink of war, we will be looking at what contribution we as individuals can make to the peace process, starting in the workplace."
