"SOCIAL Justice and Fairness to all" claims Blackpool MP Gordon Marsden's hollow words (Citizen, 2/1/03) for his party policies while hypocritical as to the increasing distress and cross-the-board poverty his party has inflicted on many of society's most defenceless.
Mr Marsden doesn't tell that he supported massive reductions and cutbacks of entitled social security benefits against defenceless society vulnerable (severely, chronicly sick and disabled etc) leaving them in distress and practically one foot in the workhouse, such folk are doubly worse off under this Labour Government.
His political climbing, like all political climbing... comes at the expense of suffering to the real poor) should remember those who have gone before with similar ambitions who have come unstuck.
