POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two men were attacked and one had his tooth knocked out after an argument.
Police were called out just after midnight on Thursday to the junction of Todmorden Road and Lyndhurst Road, Burnley.
Detective Sergeant Simon Chewte, said: "The two men were walking home when they were passed by three or four Asian males in a white car, possibly a Vauxhall Nova, which was playing loud music.
"The men shouted something at the car and they were then assaulted."
One of the attackers is described as in his early 20s, wearing blue denim jeans and a brown top.
Police are not treating the incident as racially motivated.
