A FORMER teacher and charity worker from Pendle has been appointed a member of the board which runs mental health services in Lancashire.
Frances Lawman has taken up her post as a non-executive director of Lancashire Care NHS Trust.
She currently works for the mental health charity Making Space as a family support worker in Burnley and has wide experience in mental health services.
Jo Darbyshire, Trust chairman, said: "I am delighted that someone with Frances' experience has joined the board. I am sure she will add a great deal to the work of the organisation"
Mrs Lawman will receive remuneration of £5,294 as a non-executive director of the Trust.
