IN compiling our family's history, I am trying to locate the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of ancestors who migrated from Shropshire to Lancashire in the second half of the 19th century to find work, largely in the mining industry.
I am seeking descendants of Frederick and Jayne Naylor who were living at 38, Larkhill Terrace, Blackburn in 1901. Frederick was a son of Jack and Alice Naylor and was born in Aspull, Wigan, I believe. Frederick was killed in action on September 30, 1918 and is buried at Beaulencourt. I imagine he will be on Blackburn's Roll of Honour or Memorial.
