PLANNING permission has been granted to build three bungalows on land adjacent to Metcalfe Street, Rosegrove.
They will be built on the site where three town houses had previously been approved.
A REQUEST has been submitted to British Telecom to move the telephone kiosk at the corner of Rosegrove Lane/Owen Street to a new site nearby.
This kiosk has been vandalised on numerous occasions and local people claim it is a meeting place for vandals.
PC Linda Haywood would like to remind parents of the use of motorised scooters.
They require the same documentation as a car, including insurance and driving licence.
Anyone found riding these scooters on a public road without the necessary paperwork will be prosecuted.

ROSEGROVE and the surrounding areas are to be targeted this week by the litter patrols.
Anyone found dropping litter will be issued with a fine, also anyone who is seen depositing chewing gum on the ground will be fined.
Residents are urged to use the litter bins provided.
ST Augustine's Church Hall on Lowerhouse Lane has bingo, raffle and a cup of tea on Monday nights at 7pm. All welcome.
