I WISH to express sincere thanks to all those involved in ending the difficulties I encountered in seeking help from the various authorities, when left without heat during the recent bitterly cold spell of weather (LET, January 11).
Hopefully, I can now finish unpacking and begin to settle down.
There were numerous people who visited my home in connection with the heating problem. They said, 'Not my job' and gave no help or advice at all. I hope they are never that cold and need help.
