LEIGH East Tigers U13s battled dreadful conditions to play good open rugby in a 42-10 win over Leyland.
Tries came in the first half from Daniel Weaving (2), Chris Hamnett and Adam McGuire with goals by Karl Ashall (2) and Karl Morris with Leyland managing a converted try to end the half 22-6.
The weather improved along with the rugby in the second with Weaving completing his hat-trick, along with a try apiece for Hamnett, Iain Jolley and Ben Taylor with Karl Morris converting.
