CLITHEROE moved up to second place in Division One with a 4-1 demolition of Salford City.
The Blues scored early on when Chris Whittingham's low cross was turned in by a Salford defender on 15 minutes Mark Stewart added a second from the penalty spot and on the hour the third arrived with a volley from Andrew Cowking.
Salford then pulled a goal back, but Clitheroe's reply was immediate as Gary Jackson blasted the Blues fourth.
