HAVE we lost all sense of proportion? Have our priorities gone out of the window?
Are we so affected by the scourge of political correctness that the ancient Anglo-Saxon word "cock" is now considered offensive? (LET, March 4).
I am quite sure that no offence was ever intended by the person involved, especially as she was a nurse, who regularly get called things far worse than "cock," but take no notice.
