HOW dare your very anonymous correspondent, commenting on sickness levels among Blackburn with Darwen Council employees (Letters, February 21) call me a scrounger?
I and my colleagues in our particular part of the council work very hard indeed.
Our times vary between 7.15am and 5pm and I, for one, work hard to keep my place of employment clean and environmentally safe.
One of my colleagues is very lucky if she gets her dinner half-hour. We don't stop and hang around with nothing to do.
I have never been and never will be a scrounger.
