ONE of the North West's smaller airports is celebrating the news that a second low cost airline is to operate from it.
FlyBe is to launch daily flights to Belfast from Blackpool Airport starting May 19.
It follows hard on the heels of Ryanair's recent launch of services to Dublin and London Stanstead.
The new service at the airport will see one flight each way on weekdays and Sundays, with three services each way on Saturdays.
