I'M sure we all want to know what is happening in Iraq and to our brave soldiers. However, I also want to know what is happening in Britain.
I'm sure no Budget in history had so little publicity as that of April 9 -- with a very brief report on TV and the same in newspapers.
We should have news of Britain on one programme and the Iraqi situation on another.
Also, our Prime Minister Tony Blair seems conspicuously absent from the media now he doesn't have to persuade the public that the war is a just one.
