POLICE Community Support Officer Dave Johnson will be accompanying youngsters from Briercliffe Volunteer Youth Group to AMF bowling in Burnley.
The Brierfield Volunteer Youth Group meets at the Community Centre, Jubilee Street, Harle Syke, every Friday.
Dave, who is involved in a number of initiatives with the group, believes that supporting groups like Briercliffe Volunteer Youth Group is essential and will take part in the bowling trip tomorrow.
He said: "I am happy to help out where I can, especially when it involves supporting volunteers who are helping the youth of the area find an outlet for their energies.
"Hopefully, by supporting such groups, we can help the youth of today become the good citizens of tomorrow."
