A MAN has been charged with attempting to smuggle heroin into the UK.
Customs officers at Manchester Airport seized 250 grams of heroin from a flight arriving from Islamabad on Sunday. The drugs had an estimated street value of £20,000.
Aftab Younis, 18, of Revidge Road, Blackburn, was charged with attempting to smuggle the Class A drug into the UK. He was bailed to appear at Manchester magistrates court today.
