A WOMAN lost everything when her rented flat in Chapel Street, Leigh was destroyed by fire. Firefighters spent two hours controlling the fire, which is thought to have been caused by a carelessly discarded cigarette.
The flat and its contents were completely destroyed. Firefighters prevented the fire spreading to an adjacent property.
