HEATON Park will be transformed into a massive open-air club venue for 40,000 revellers next month.
Radio One is to launch its new One Big Weekend event at the park on Saturday, May 3, and Sunday, May 4.
The two-day mini festival will launch Radio One's summer of live events across the country and will be divided into a dance day on Saturday and live bands on the Sunday.
Artists for the Sunday are yet to be announced but on Saturday, club kings Good Greef will kick off the entertainment from 3pm.
