DEFENDING Division One champions Blackburn Northern A got their season off to a cracking start in the East Lancshire League with a fine win over local rivals Feniscowles A 3-1.
There were also wins for Burnley A, Sunnyhurst A and Blackburn Northern B.
In the Second Division, Whalley A beat Accrington A, Burnley B crushed Feniscowles B and Whalley B beat Sunnyhurst B 3-1.
In The Third Division, Accrington B got maximum points against Burnley D.
