Stan Ternent has only offered two players new contracts resulting in 13 of his first team squad being released.
With solid performances behind them Drissa Diallo and Graham Branch will be given the chance to sign new contracts, which leaves a mixture of experienced and young players being shown the door.
Ternent said last week he was looking to build a new side at Turf Moor and the numbers released today backs that up.
Stan's decision was made easier as Paul Cook, Andy Payton and Gordon Armstrong had already announced that they were leaving Turf Moor at the end of the season.
