MY thanks to the voters of Tyldesley East Ward for continuing to place their faith in me at the Local Elections. I am delighted with this result, which was achieved against a national picture of mid-term blues' for Labour.
The outcome was all the more remarkable because the Tyldesley East contest was the Borough's only straight fight between two candidates.
I believe the result was a triumph for honesty and hard work. Keeping these virtues uppermost in my mind, I assure the people of Tyldesley, Astley and Mosley Common that I will continue to represent them to the best of my ability.
As always, I will be happy to offer my help to anyone who needs it irrespective of whether or not they voted for me.
