ACTS for next month's Darwen Lions Gala have been announced -- but potential pop idols are needed to get the party started.
The fun-filled day will kick off at 10am on Saturday, June 21, and members of the public are being invited to join in the festivities.
Ian Ashton, Lions member and gala organiser, said: "This year we will be having a five-a-side football tournament as well as a musical talent show for two age groups, eight to 12 and 13 to 19 years old."
Budding stars are invited to pick up their entry forms at the Darwen Leisure Centre or Lancashire Evening Telegraph office on Bridge Street.
