Leigh Centurions are back! The past few weeks have seen a massive mood swing at OUR club, the team has become a TEAM again.

The enthusiasm, desire and will to win are there for all to see, something that seemed to be missing for large parts of last year and some of this. Coupled with this we are fortunate to have the fastest backline since the heady days of Dessie and Woody, scoring and capable of scoring tries from anywhere.

It's now time for REAL Leythers to support their club again because, as results have shown, this TEAM has a very real chance of overtuning Salford's full time advantage and winning promotion to Super League, but the club can only sustain that push with fans through the turnstiles.

We are a rugby town, we were founder members of the RFL and are steeped in RL tradition. We have a massive dormant fan base that we need to attract back. The Wigan game last year showed the demand for top class RL and the scramble for tickets was amusing to watch.

We now want all those fans, who listen to GMR on matchdays or frantically search Teletext to get the result, back through the gates because with your support OUR great club will get back to where it rightfully belongs, among the games elite.

This Sunday will be a game not to miss against a club that inflicted Salford's first League defeat last weekend and turned us over in the Challenge Cup, so it will provide a good benchmark of our abilities and expectations and is an ideal game to see what the club has to offer the paying spectator.

Support YOUR club this Sunday and watch Leigh retain top spot in National League One against one of its biggest challengers but as important support YOUR team's ambition to win promotion to Super League.

A proud Leyther
