HTHE 35lb turkey-like bird spotted roosting in an Astley tree last week has created an air of mystery.
One villager tells me it could be an "absolutely massive" heron which lives in fields behind St Stephen's Church -- one which has snaffled all the goldfish from her pond.
The only problem is that my turkey reporter said she knew what a heron looked like -- and it wasn't one.
