ACCRINGTON and Rossendale College is to hold an open day for people interested in a career in health, social and child care.
The event, between 1pm and 3pm next Monday, will be held in the main hall of the college's Sandy Lane site, Accrington.
The event is designed to show local residents the opportunities available in the industry and offer information and guidance about the courses on offer.
It will be of interest to anyone interested in a number of professions, including becoming a classroom assistant, working for a holiday resort or progressing to become a teacher.
Individual course tutors will be on hand to answer any questions as well as representatives from organisations across the area.
